Mensa's Three Purposes

  • To identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity.
  • To encourage research in the nature, characteristics and uses of intelligence.
  • To promote stimulating intellectual and social opportunities for its members.

Mensa, the high IQ society, provides a forum for intellectual exchange among its members. With members in more than 100 countries worldwide, over 57,000 members in the United States, the Nebraska-Western Iowa Chapter currently has 159 members (as of March 2026).

Activities include the exchange of ideas through lectures, discussions, journals, special-interest groups, and local, regional, national and international gatherings.

Local Events

Weekly trivia nights, poker SIG, game nights, and monthly dine-outs bring members together.
